Meet Max! Our Antigonous!
In this series of quick questions, we want you to QUICKLY (see what I did there? (o: Okay, never mind . . . . ) get to know our cast for the Shake-in-a-Day Series. This fantastically fun set of individuals will be joining us January 14th, 2017 at the Westbeth Community Arts Room (55 Bethune Street in NYC) for a one-night only Shakespeare event. Don't miss it!
Now its finally time for you to meet Max Wingert who plays Antigonous in our fast, fun, and furious Shake-in-a-Day production of The Winter's Tale. This is Max's first time performing with us, but we seriously can't WAIT to see what he will do with this role. Antigonous is the husband of Paulina who rescues baby princess Perdita and has the unfortunate task of leaving her in the woods. He's also the guy who gets torn to shreds by a bear! Oh my! Q: What's your favorite activity to do in the Winter?
MAX: Snowboarding will forever hold a special place in my heart. That and reading a book with a mug of hot tea while it snows outside. Good times.
Q: What's something unique about you?
MAX: I grew up in Tokyo, Japan, amongst other places, and moved to New York only a year ago.
Q: What animal would you want your exit to be pursued by in your own Winter's Tale?
MAX: Bear is pretty solid, but maybe a really fierce kitten.
